Terms of Service

These terms form an agreement between you and Self Streak for the website, Android app, and API (together, the “service”). By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

1. The service

Self Streak is a personal productivity tracker: daily task timers, streaks and analytics, calendars and reminders, checklists, an encrypted journal, motivation quotes, and a manual expense tracker. Features may change as the service improves.

2. Free plan

The service is currently free with no paid tiers, no ads, and no feature gates. We may introduce optional paid plans in the future; these terms (and the Refund Policy) will be updated before anything is charged, and existing free functionality will remain available.

3. Accounts

• You must be at least 13 years old (under 18s need a guardian's permission).
• Provide accurate details and keep your password secret.
• One account per person; you are responsible for activity under it.
• Tell us promptly at support@selfstreak.space if it is compromised.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Break the law or infringe anyone's rights through the service.
• Abuse, overload, probe, or reverse-engineer the service or its APIs.
• Send spam, phishing, or mass messages via feedback or email features.
• Upload unlawful, hateful, or sexually explicit material involving minors.
• Circumvent access controls or use another person's account.

We may suspend or delete accounts that violate these terms, with or without notice for serious abuse.

5. Your content

You own what you enter. You grant us only the limited rights needed to store, sync, display, and back it up for you. Journal content stays end-to-end encrypted as described in the Privacy Policy.

6. Our intellectual property

The service, brand, design, and copy belong to Self Streak. You receive a personal, non-transferable license to use the service — not to copy, resell, or misrepresent it.

7. No warranties

The service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. Streaks, reminders, analytics, and exports are best-effort tools, not guarantees — for example, device settings can delay notifications.

8. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Our total liability is limited to the amounts you paid us (currently $0 for the free plan).

9. Termination

You can stop using the service anytime and delete your account (Profile → Delete account). Deletion is scheduled 15 days out: we email you when it is scheduled, warn you 48 hours before, and confirm once it completes. Signing in during those 15 days cancels it. After the grace period your data is permanently erased. We may suspend or terminate abusive accounts as described above.

10. Changes and contact

We may update these terms and will post the new version here with a new date; continued use after material changes means acceptance. Questions: support@selfstreak.space. Disputes are governed by the laws of India, and we will first try to resolve them informally by email.
